Individual coaching: I’ve done training with the Co-Active Training Institute (formerly the Coaches Training Institute), and in Motivational Interviewing. I work with people 1:1 whether they’re looking to step it up in their current role, find a new one, or forge a new path.
Community building: I convene regular community calls with people interested in careers in corporate social responsibility, business and human rights, social impact, etc. I started fielding informational interviews in groups c. 2008 for efficiency, but it has turned out to be a wonderful way to build networks and community. (I wrote a post about the calls on LinkedIn.) Just ask if you’d like to join the next one.
Idea development: I’ve worked with TEDx speakers on their scripts and delivery, and have been a long-time evangelist and occasional assistant facilitator for The OpEd Project, helping people get their ideas out into the world. Team facilitation: I have built and led teams and helped others doing the same. I work with teams on designing and facilitating strategy sessions and retreats, and on a longer-term basis to improve their effectiveness. I’m a graduate of the Dialogos Leadership for Collective Intelligence Program.
